The 6CE230UNI Starlight 2Megapixel Outdoor PTZ Network Dome Camera from Dahua Technology is a 1/2.8” 2MP STARVIS sensor dome camera with up to 1920 × 1080 resolution at 60 fps. This dome camera has a 4.5-135 mm lens with a 30x optical zoom. It features Smart H.265+, H.265, Smart H.264+, and H.264 video compression, adjustable white balance, gain control, an auto day and night ICR, digital noise reduction (2D, 3D Ultra DNR), a 120 dB digital wide dynamic range, and backlight compensation. This camera has six IR LEDs with a maximum range of 656′ as well as an audio input and output. The camera can be powered via PoE, simplifying installation and minimizing cable runs.

Starlight Technology

Starlight ultra-low light technology can capture color details in low light down to 0.005 lux. The camera uses a set of optical features to balance light throughout the scene, which produces clear images in dark environments.

Intelligent Video System (IVS) Standard Features

IVS triggers an alarm and takes a defined action when it detects tampering with the camera, an error writing to an onboard MicroSD card, an error sending or receiving data over the network, and unauthorized access to the cameras.

True Wide Dynamic Range

One hundred twenty dB True Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) optimizes both the bright and dark areas of a scene at the same time to provide usable video.

High-Efficiency Video Coding

Smart H.265+ is the optimized implementation of the H.265 codec that uses a scene-adaptive encoding strategy, dynamic GOP, dynamic ROI, flexible multi-frame reference structure, and intelligent noise reduction to deliver high-quality video without straining the network.

Interoperability

The camera conforms to the Open Network Video Interface Forum (ONVIF) and to the Physical Security Interoperability Alliance (PSIA) specifications, ensuring interoperability between network video products.

Environmental

The camera is designed for extreme temperature environments and complies with an IK10 vandal resistance rating, making it capable of withstanding the equivalent of 11 lb (4.99 kg) of force dropped from a height of 15.75”. It is subjected to rigorous dust and water immersion tests and certified to the IP67 ingress protection rating. A built-in heater allows the device to operate in extremely low temperatures.
