The DD1100 deScammer works by detecting a Bluetooth network near a credit card point of sale and alerting you with a red light.
Simply aim the DD1100 deScammer fob at the place where you insert your card, press the button and wait for a solid red light warning or a green light, indicating you’re safe to swipe.
Designed for counter surveillance, the DD1100 deScammer Credit Card Skimmer Detector from KJB Security Products is a key fob that detects credit card skimmers that use Bluetooth.
To use this DD1100 device, simply aim the deScammer where you would insert your credit card and press the button on the device for a green or red indicator light.
A green light indicates that it’s safe to use your credit card. A red light means that a Bluetooth signal has been identified near the point of sale, meaning it may be unsafe to use your credit card.
The DD1100 deScammer comes with a USB charging cable for the internal rechargeable battery.
Please note that this DD1100 device only picks up Bluetooth transmissions. It will not detect credit card skimmers that don’t use Bluetooth technology.
