Description

The Uniview NVR301-08X is a professional-grade 8-channel Ultra 4K HD Network Video Recorder built for reliable IP surveillance in small to mid-sized environments. It is part of Uniview’s Easy series. Additionally, it delivers a streamlined plug-and-play setup that makes installation and system management simple. However, it still offers the performance needed for demanding security applications.

Designed to support Ultra 265, H.265, and H.264 compression formats, this NVR helps optimize video storage and network efficiency without sacrificing image quality. Its proprietary Ultra 265 technology combines U-Code with H.265 to reduce both storage requirements and bandwidth usage by up to 75%. This makes it an excellent choice for users looking to maximize recording time and minimize infrastructure costs.

With support for recording up to 4K (8MP) resolution, the NVR301-08X ensures sharp, detailed footage for clearer identification and monitoring. The unit also offers strong local decoding capability. Specifically, it can handle two channels at 4K@30fps or up to eight channels at 1080p@30fps. Therefore, it enables smooth live viewing and playback across multiple cameras.

For storage, the recorder includes 1 SATA interface and supports a single hard drive. Capacity options are up to 6 TB or 10 TB depending on the specific sub-model firmware. This flexibility allows users to tailor storage to their recording needs. This applies whether for continuous surveillance or extended archive retention.

The NVR301-08X is equipped with 80 Mbps incoming bandwidth and 64 Mbps outgoing bandwidth. This ensures stable multi-channel monitoring and responsive video transmission. It also complies with ONVIF profiles S, G, and T. As a result, it is compatible with a wide range of third-party IP cameras for easier system expansion and integration.

To support versatile installation and viewing options, the recorder provides simultaneous video output through 1-channel HDMI with up to 4K resolution and 1-channel VGA. Please note that this model does not include built-in PoE ports. Therefore, external PoE switches or injectors will be required for connecting IP cameras.
