Description
The Uniview NVR502-16B-P16 network video recorder provides reliable recording, management, and playback for professional IP surveillance systems. It connects up to 16 network cameras and records resolutions up to 16 megapixels. Ultra 265, H.265, and H.264 compression reduce bandwidth and storage use while preserving important detail for security monitoring, investigations, and evidence review.
Sixteen integrated PoE ports simplify installation by carrying network data and power over compatible Ethernet cabling. Each port supports up to 30 watts, with a combined PoE budget of 240 watts. One additional gigabit Ethernet interface connects the recorder to the main network. Independent HDMI and VGA outputs support flexible local displays, while HDMI delivers resolution up to 4K for clear monitoring.
The NVR502-16B-P16 includes two SATA interfaces and supports surveillance hard drives up to 16TB per bay. RAID 1, disk grouping, redundant storage, and ANR technology help protect recordings and improve resilience. Local synchronized playback supports up to 16 channels, and authorized users can connect remotely for system management, live viewing, and recorded-video search.
Smart search features work with compatible cameras to locate people, vehicles, intrusion events, line-crossing events, temperature alerts, people-counting information, and heat-map data. Eight alarm inputs, two alarm outputs, two-way audio, RS-485, USB 2.0, and USB 3.0 provide practical integration options for commercial security applications.
