CB-PO-1U22022B1 2 conductor stranded security cable supports security and low power applications. This cable is ideal for access control, remote control, signaling, security systems, communications, surveillance, intercom/PA systems and sound/audio applications in multi-story commercial building or residential environments.

The CB-PO-1U22022B1 18 AWG 2 conductor stranded security cable is composed of 2 wires (Black, Red) inside an In-Wall Riser rated gray jacket. This cable is approved for 300 volts and has a temperature range of -20 °C to 75 °C. Our stranded security cables are CMR and CL3R and meet UL 1666, which are perfect for commercial installation in vertical floor-to-floor runs, where the length exceeds one story.

Our 1000 ft (304.8 m) 18 AWG (American Wire Gauge) 4 conductor stranded security/alarm wire comes in easy to use pull boxes. This wire is CMR / riser and in-wall rated; it is not intended for plenum applications.

This security wire is designed for use in security/alarm systems. It is typically used for connecting motion sensors, keypads, magnetic contacts, glass breaks (acoustic detectors), smoke detectors, communicators, sounders/strobes, entry management and control panels in such systems. When wiring a system please be sure to consult the manufacturers’ recommendations for wire conductors, gauge and expected resistance.
