Prevent corrosion and electrical shorts with CJB-E137, while our cameras come with a water-resistant connector. This does not mean they are waterproof. Moisture can still creep in and corrode the Ethernet or coaxial connection and ultimately short out your camera.

When the connections are exposed to the elements and in areas with heavy rainfall, this is especially true. Buying and installing a waterproof junction box will prevent this problem because your connections will be safe inside the box.

Use CJB-E137 to stop theft. If you leave your cables exposed, someone can easily cut them. When the connection stops, the camera won’t record and the criminals can do their work without worrying. They have to take the camera out of the box to reach the cables when they install a metal box.

Another useful feature of junction boxes is the ability to run metal conduit directly into the junction box. This is great when you need to run your cables on the outside of a building. You can pull your cable through a metal conduit and connect the conduit directly to the junction box. This way, none of your cables are exposed, further reducing the possibility of someone cutting your camera’s cable.
