Description

The XVR301-08G3 is a Uniview 8-channel hybrid DVR, an HD coaxial DVR recorder, and a hybrid video security recorder for small sites. It accepts eight analog camera inputs through BNC connectors.

Moreover, it supports four IP channels by default and up to eight IP channels after analog channels are converted. This flexible design helps owners update an existing system without replacing every camera at once.

The hybrid video security recorder works with TVI, AHD, CVI, CVBS, and compatible IP cameras. Therefore, it can bring several common video formats into one simple security system. H.265 and H.264 compression reduce storage and network use while keeping recorded video clear. The unit records analog video at up to 5MP Lite and supports IP decoding at up to 4MP.

The XVR301-08G3 provides one HDMI output and one VGA output that can operate at the same time. Also, both support display resolutions up to 1920 × 1080. In addition, the recorder provides one RCA audio input and one RCA audio output for two-way audio. Audio over coax is supported with compatible TVI cameras.

The Uniview 8-channel hybrid DVR includes Ultra Motion Detection on four analog channels. This tool helps reduce false alerts caused by movement. ONVIF and RTSP support also improve camera compatibility. Remote connections use a 10/100 Mbps Ethernet port, and common network services include HTTPS, DDNS, NTP, and SMTP.

The XVR301-08G3 has one SATA bay for a hard drive up to 16 TB. Two rear USB 2.0 ports support local control and backup tasks.

Its 1U case measures 10.2 × 8.9 × 1.8 inches. It operates from 14 °F to 131 °F in non-condensing indoor conditions. The recorder uses 12 VDC power and consumes no more than 8 watts without a hard drive. This HD coaxial DVR recorder is a practical choice for small and mid-sized security projects.
