Description
The ENS 4K bullet camera HDC-IR8AE2/MZ provides clear 8MP video through supported coax security systems. It is a good choice when you want to upgrade an older camera system without replacing coax cable. Furthermore, it supports TVI, AHD, CVI, and CVBS video formats, so it works with many supported DVR systems.
The 1/2.5-inch CMOS sensor records video at up to 3840 × 2160 resolution. In addition, the 2.8–12 mm motorized zoom lens lets the installer adjust the view through supported equipment. For example, the lens can provide a wide view of a parking area or a closer view of an entrance. Therefore, the camera can cover driveways, warehouses, loading areas, gates, building edges, and other key locations.
At night, built-in infrared light provides a viewing range of up to 164 feet (ca. 50 m). However, the actual distance may change based on site conditions.
The true day and night filter switches the image from color to black and white as the light changes. Meanwhile, Smart IR helps control bright spots on objects near the camera.
The camera also includes 3D noise reduction, backlight control, and automatic white balance. As a result, recorded video can remain clearer in dark or uneven lighting.
The IP67-rated bullet housing helps protect the camera from dust, rain, and harsh outdoor weather. Because it works indoors and outdoors, installers can use it in many types of security projects. Coax control also provides access to the on-screen menu through supported DVR equipment. In addition, the adjustable base allows flexible pan, tilt, and rotation. Standard 12V DC power makes installation easier.
