Description
The Eyemax TLP-P2112V-W is a professional 1080p HD-TVI license plate capture camera for outdoor vehicle monitoring. It records clear full-HD video and helps capture readable plates during the day or at night. Therefore, it is a strong choice for gates, parking lots, toll areas, driveways, and traffic lanes.
The camera uses a 1/2.9-inch Sony IMX-222 CMOS sensor to produce sharp 2-megapixel video. In addition, it can capture plates on vehicles traveling at speeds up to 65 mph (ca. 105 km/h). As a result, security teams can monitor both slow entry lanes and faster traffic with greater detail.
High-power smart IR LEDs provide light up to 100 feet (ca. 30 m) in complete darkness. Moreover, the camera controls bright light from vehicle headlights and helps prevent washed-out plate images. Therefore, plates remain clearer in difficult low-light scenes.
The 7–22 mm manual varifocal lens lets installers adjust the viewing angle and zoom. For example, the camera can focus closely on a gate, driveway, or single traffic lane. This flexible lens also helps users frame the target area without losing image detail.
The strong IP68-rated housing protects the camera from rain, dust, and harsh weather. Meanwhile, HD-TVI sends uncompressed 1080p video through standard coaxial cable. Consequently, the camera can upgrade many existing analog systems without requiring new video cables.
The TLP-P2112V-W operates on 12V DC power. However, it requires a compatible hybrid or penta-brid DVR with 1080p HD-TVI inputs. Finally, proper camera placement is important. Aim it toward the target lane, keep the capture angle controlled, and test both daytime and nighttime views before completing installation. Careful alignment helps deliver clear, reliable plate images during daily vehicle monitoring.
