Description
Prevent corrosion and electrical shorts with Eyemax CJB-E13A, while our cameras come with a water-resistant connector. This does not mean they are waterproof. Moisture can still creep in and corrode the Ethernet or coaxial connection and ultimately short out your camera.
This is especially true in places where there is a lot of rain or where the wires are outside. You can prevent this type of failure by purchasing and installing a waterproof junction box.
Eyemax CJB-E13A prevents vandalism. If the cables are visible, someone can easily cut them. Criminals don’t care if you catch them. It’s harder to reach the cables if they install a metal box.
Another useful feature of junction boxes is the ability to run metal conduit directly into the junction box. This is great when you need to run your cables on the outside of a building. You can pull your cable through a metal conduit and connect the conduit directly to the junction box. No wires are visible, so it’s less likely that someone will cut your camera’s wire.
