The Dahua DH-PFS4212-8GT-96 8-Port Managed PoE Gigabit Power Consumption Management Switch is an advanced solution for powering connected devices, such as network cameras, even when the switch experiences a power fault. This switch features Intelligent PoE technology which monitors the power consumption of connected devices and will shut down one port at a time rather than all ports shutting down at once in the event of large power fluctuations.

This Dahua DH-PFS4212-8GT-96 switch shuts down the highest port first and then the next port until it uses less power than what the PoE budget allows. Each PoE port on the switch connects to a network camera. The switch will disable port number 8 first, then port 7, and so on in order until the power budget is below the threshold wattage. This unique approach provides a more efficient power management solution compared to other switches that shut down all ports at once.
